Barn conversion in Winkhill, Near Leek, creating two holiday cottages. Works completed, new floors, drainage, tanking system, insulation. Partial rebuild, complete new roof creating a high spec conversion with underfloor heating and air source heat pump, whilst still retaining the original character of the building.
Complete renovation works and new stone extension to stone cottage at Wetton, Derbyshire within the Peak District National Park. Dismantle where needed, excavation of all ground floors, complete works for Radon, new drainage, damp proof membranes, tanking system, new insulated ground floors throughout with wet underfloor heating, powered by air source heat pump. Fit complex steel work to give additional strength to the existing roof structure and provide open plan kitchen diner. Build new two storey and lean to single storey extension, all internal works to plastered finish.
STONE Barn Conversion – Oakamoor, Nr Alton, Staffordshire Complete rebuilding of rear elevation wall and apexes. New roof structure. New openings created and fitted with structural steel works. Existing ground floor excavated and replaced with new reinforced sub floor, damp proof membrane and wet underfloor heating. New rainwater and foul drainage. New two storey stone extension and new single storey stone extension with flat roof and balcony area.
STONE Barn Conversion in Ipstones, near Leek. Rebuild and conversion of stone barn at Ipstones. The walls were taken down, new foundations were laid and we rebuilt the barn with insulated cavity walls using the existing grit stone externally. New insulated floors and damp proof membranes were laid. The new house is split over two different ground floor levels.
Stone Barn Conversion in Swinscoe near Ashbourne, Derbyshire. All existing roof had to be stripped off and main front wall taken down. Adjoining lower building was taken down completely. New foundations laid and rebuilt. We also built new extension to the rear.
Stone Cottage Rebuild in Calton, nr Ashbourne. The Roof, front and rear walls had to be taken down completely and part of the gables removed. We put in new foundations, floors and drainage. Whilst also bringing up to the latest building regulations with insulation, damp proof membrane and underfloor heating throughout. Rebuilt with cavity walls, using existing stone externally and roofed using existing tiles.
Stone out-house. Renovation work, Hartington, Derbyshire, Peak Park. Renovations were sympathetic to the building, using original or reclaimed materials. The building is open to the eaves providing a light and inviting space.
